About UNISS

The UNISS Netball Tournament is a Regional Qualifying Tournament that sees the four top teams go on to compete in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Netball Tournament held in October each year.  Four teams are also chosen from the two other region tournaments (Lower North Island & South Island) to make up 12 top teams competing for national honours. 

Players at this tournament also have the opportunity to be selected for the NZ Netball Secondary School Trials held at Easter each year. 

This tournament is a fabulous breeding ground for future Silver Ferns, with over 75 teams competing every year.
