Debbie Shoebridge is the Umpire Co-ordinator for Netball Counties Manukau. Debbie works 15 hours a week in this position.  The Umpire Co-ordinator's position is proudly supported by the Perry Foundation.

Debbie works with Centre Umpire Co-ordinators and Schools developing umpires. Her main areas of work are:
  • To provide and implement an Umpiring Training Programme across the Region
  • To provide continued training and education for Umpires
  • To work with Centre Umpire Panels to assist with Umpire Accreditation

2010 ANZ Championships - changes to rules (only applies to ANZ Champs)
  • There will be no whistle to indicate a goal being scored instead the umpire will raise their arm to indicate a goal being scored
  • The electronic clock will be the official clock and will have a full countdown with no siren or hooter.  The Umpire's whistle will stop the game.
  • Coaching will be allowed at an injury or illness break.  The coaching can be done from the sideline only.
