2012 - Coaching In Schools Programme

Netball Counties Manukau Region will continue to run the Coaching in Schools Programme in 2012.   This programme involves coaching netball specific skills and drills to your students. This development is reinforced through modified games which promote netball skills in a number of new and challenging ways.  This is a great opportunity for students and teachers a like to learn all about netball. The fee for this programme is $30 per session plus GST.

Counties Manukau Secondary Schools Netball Competition 2011
Venue:  Papakura Netball Centre
College Sport administers this competition which is held throughout Term 2 at Papakura Netball Centre.  The competition draws teams from throughout the Counties Manukau region.
Eastern Zone Netball Competition 2011
Venue: Howick Pakuranga Netball Centre
Howick Pakuranga Netball Centre administers this competition which is held throughout Term 2.  This competition draws teams from east Auckland.

The teams that compete in these Secondary Schools competitions are affiliated to Netball Counties Manukau Region and this entitles them to:

• Umpire Workshop before the competition starts for Student umpires to gain Test Bank Theory
• Coaching Workshop – Netball NZ “My Team and Me” Coaching Module aimed at Student Coaches (2 ½ hr module)
• Talent Identification – Netball Development Officer will attend competition throughout the season and players will have the opportunity to be selected for our Development programmes off and pre season.
