About Us

WHO IS NETBALL COUNTIES MANUKAU REGION?

Six affiliated Netball Centres: i.e. Howick Pakuranga Netball Centre, Mangere Otahuhu Netball Centre, Netball Manurewa, Papakura Netball Centre, Pukekohe Netball Centre & Waiuku Netball Centre.

Over 180 Netball Clubs that participate in their local Centre competitions each Saturday.

Membership boasts over 10,000 players, coaches, umpires & administrators.

Employ a Regional Manager, CoachForce Officer, Netball Development Officer, Umpire Co-ordinator and Administrator to assist with the delivery of the High Performance and Development programmes within Counties Manukau.

Netball Counties Manukau is partially funded through membership fees that are generated through its Netball Centres, with the majority of funding coming from funding agencies and sponsors.

The Region communicates to its members, (players, coaches, umpires & administrators) by way of our website, a monthly newsletter (in season) and regular promotional flyers.

At the conclusion of each netball season a Regional Prizegiving is held to celebrate the successes of the season and to thank the many volunteers that make netball happen each year.
